Week 7...making the most of each day

Sharing these experiences with several special people this week.

• On Thursday morning, we had brunch to celebrate our first time not having conferences! Brenda and I reminisced about the many years of parent/teacher conferences over mimosas.

• Thursday night, Tate and I attended the production of To Kill a Mockingbird . This was the first time seeing the live performance for both of us.

• On Friday morning, I made my first French press coffee. It was easy and delicious. I'm not sure why I hadn't tried doing this myself earlier in my life. Unfortunately, I find myself saying that often and then I let it go because right now is the right time to try it!

• Friday night, we had our first fire pit night at the Roe's. Thanks to Kimber, we had another amazing karaoke night, at least the girls did!

• Saturday night, we were honored to celebrate Hunter and Bailey's big day! They are such a sweet couple and reuniting with most of the cul-de-sac was a true highlight of treasured friendships.
