Week 24...Celebrations*

On Thursday, we had a belated birthday celebration for Jen. None of us had been to bingo at Hamburger Mary's, until now! It was so much fun and it was a benefit for Literacy KC. Christy and I both won! We shared lots of laughs together. 😁

Then the celebration switches... Sunday was the Rosary for Kerry's dad and Monday was his funeral. Eric and I went to the Rosary together. While in the church, I realized it was one year ago that we were at my mom's funeral/celebration of life. How quickly things change in a year's time. Monday was the funeral and Vicki and I went together. Kerry had a beautiful display pictures at the church. I wish I had taken a picture of it. We were able to spend the day in Stanberry and Albany and offer our love and support to Kerry and her family.
