Week 19...Sponsoring a movie for the Dream Theater

Mom and Dad loved to go to the movies and they especially enjoyed historical dramas. I think about them when I see a movie now and I try to determine if they would have liked the movie or not. The first week of the new year we had a family movie night at AMC- Eric, Tate, Brock, Claire, and me. We saw Boys in the Boat and while watching it, I kept thinking how much Mom and Dad would have loved it. I also thought that this would be the perfect movie to sponsor in their honor at Russell's Dream Theater.

The Dream Theater in my hometown is run by volunteers and it seeks sponsors for the weekly movies. I made the request to sponsor Boys in the Boat and this was the week for it play. I mentioned this to my girlfriends and they wanted in on the fun. We road tripped to Russell and stopped in Wilson on the way there. We took our picture with the world's largest Czech egg.

We had a great time volunteering at the theater. Tisha and Nicole were on popcorn duty in the concession stand and I took tickets. It was a treat to see a lot of Mom and Dad's friends in attendance.
