Week 18...Snow, lots of snow!

There's something so peaceful and beautiful about fresh snow covering the delicate tree branches. I love the stillness of morning waking from an overnight snow storm, especially while enjoying a hot cup of herbal tea. If only we could stay nestled in our cozy pjs and never leave the house.

When reality hits that it's time to adult again, the snow has a much different feeling. Having two other properties 3+ hours away that a buried in snow, makes the beauty of the snow turn to burden. This led to my quick trip to Russell to double check the houses and get things in order to for snow removal. My first experience of long distant property management during snow season. Not so fun, but a few lessons learned and now we have names and numbers of snow removal people to help us out!
