Week 17...Trying New Recipes

This week I tried several new high protein recipes-most that I found on TikTok or Instagram. I made a taco cottage cheese bowl and it was delicious! I've always liked cottage cheese, but I usually eat it by itself or maybe with pineapple chunks. I will say I was skeptical about eating it with taco meat. No lie, it was filling and yummy!

I also started shredding my own cheese! Game changer!! Everyone has noticed the difference. I used the food processor I've had for over 24 years. I actually sat down and figured out the attachments and parts, so I know how to use the shredding blade. Once again, it wasn't hard and I continue to learn the lesson that I should have taken a few more minutes to work through the process. It is a little messy, but so worth it!
