First time seeing them in concert and it was a-maz-ing! They are so talented and this was a perfect way to kick off the holiday season!!
We also went to a Christmas pop up bar called Tinsel Tavern in P&L. Festive atmosphere and creative cocktails.
At the farm last week, I saw a Dazey Churn up on the shelf in the kitchen. I've wanted to make butter after reading an article about homemade speciality butters. So I carefully got the churn to bring back to Parkville. Once home, I cleaned the churn and the butter molds. In the spirit of trying something new, I embarked on making butter by hand. There is something highly satisfying in accomplishing the task, but I felt like I had tennis elbow from hand churning for about 40 minutes! The end result was delicious and I'll be working on my recipe for speciality butters...and I'll probably be using the KitchenAide. 😉

Wreath Making: Thanks to Tisha (and Mike) for getting us signed up for this creative adventure at White Farmhouse Flowers & Gifts in downtown Parkville. We had a blast with Randy and Denise! I highly recommend taking a class with them. Not only do you learn a lot and create something beautiful, but they also treat you with snacks and drinks!! I love my wreath and it reminds me of a delightful evening with girlfriends!
