A New Beginning

52 and starting fresh. The past year was one of extremes in all areas of my life. In fact, I felt my life had been flipped upside down. I'd experienced the most painful grief with the passing of my dad and then three months later, the passing of my mom. Both were unexpected and completely changed me. I also retired and my youngest graduated from high school. Changes were hitting me left and right. I've spent the last past seven months in grief counseling and I'm grateful every day for the support of an amazing therapist. She helped me to see and understand so many things, but one element in particular was to be more flexible-embrace change and newness...to remember the past fondly and look to future with joy. So here I am! I'm sharing all the new adventures, places, experiences...big and small moments that will help me cultivate a more joyful lifestyle of learning and flexibility.
